| Weekend-Recap What a weekend this was. The trip there would once again show that our new trailer would give Dean's bike problems when we arrived. Dean's bike would have some minor seat tears from Kevin Barbers bike that we hauled and that Kevin did not strap down correctley and come out of the wheel choke and push Kevins handle bars into Deans seat, leaving a nice big tear in it. No major problems though, thank God, to the bike. Rain on Friday is what would then give us problems with our new trailer. Power problems (electrical) and leaks to start over our bed and then last but not least the generator we borrowed quite working. Dean and Larry would qualify alright on Saturday. Sunday Dean would make it through first round of SE (10.90 index) and would make it again to the Semi-Finals in Super Sport (10.30 index) only after taking out Larry (teammate) in the first round and then in the Quarter-Finals he would cause a oil down on the track with his oil filter coming loose and spraying all of him, the "Monster Bike", and the track. The guys cleaned up what they could though to get him back out and make it to the Semi's. After being through three events now, I am ready for the winning streak to start. I can't complain though. Coming into this race, Dean was leading in points with Larry only one point behind. Super Sport will definitely be exciting this year. After points were posted, Dean would now move to 2nd place and Larry to 6th place. Not bad for three races and the guys are having to deal with no test-n-tune time at home, trailer issues, and of course our lovely economy and gas prices hurting our hobby. But, Team Miller Motors, (Poor Boys Racing.org and Maynhart Racing) will make it to Ennis,TX at the end of this month to hopefully take bacl the points lead and get the first team win of the season. Stay tuned, I promise this year will be an exciting one. Thanks again for visiting us, Stephanie Druschel |
