| Friday is the day that the AHDRA staff has arrived and opens the gates to the racers, crew, vendors, and the fans. As the day goes by, everyone starts to get in and ready for test-n-tune. By the end of the day, most will either crash and go to sleep or this weekend will have the pleasure of going to the Drive-In in the pits featuring "Wild Hogs" presented by Horne Concrete. That was a great time for everyone to relax, unwind and visit with our racing family after the short or long drive that everyone makes. But if you choose to crash early there are some people (names will be kept silent because "Pay Backs" quoted by Nick Gonatas Jr.) who just aren't ready to go to bed and are feeling a little, well, friskey. So you can see that Nick Gonatas Jr. from Warren's Harley Davidson and his crew would have to return to the track on Saturday morning to find their golf cart right by the front gate for all to see, toliet papered, and on top of garbage barrels. I do know that those there couldn't stop smiling, laughing, and enjoying being with those people we call our "Other Family". Everything was all in good fun and just remember, be careful if you go to sleep early, you never know what your family is up to. Sorry Nick, I just couldn't resist. |

What a record that would be! But what has happened is that a grasshopper has crossed over and tripped the beam after Dean left the line. Track staff says that this has happened with them and also frogs before. So, Lisa Cranfill and Bill McGrew had agreed that a Re-Run be done. 2nd Round RE-RUN Dean .063 10.265 114.49 Lowery .042 10.331<<WIN 121.20 |
